REVIEW
After using my revision notes history, i was really happy to get my hands on this chemistry book. However, it lacks essential aspects to topics which are vital in exam style questions. I think it has poor over complicated explanations that make it hard to digest, and even confusing to my AS knowledge in which i achieved an A. One thing that was marginally useful was the Exam practice, but the answers are found online which means you cannot revise remotely, and the questions are not in the style of AQA exam past paper questions. I think this chunky book. Also, you'd think that the exam tips would be helpful, but they are not. Things that should be included are things like, in the topic of Atomic structure, Chromiums exception in electron configuration, and in Kinetics, calorimetry not to forget to divide by the mole when asking for Enthalpy change. Overall, i was really disappointed, and would recommend the CGP's chemistry guide as it is much more useful for exam success.
