This is a fantastic revision guide for those taking GCSE maths foundation level with Edexcel exam board This is a very detailed revision guide which covers everything that you will need for the exam. Topics include: *numbers *algebra *ratio, proportion and rates of change *geometry and measures *statistics *probability with each sub topic taking 1 page. There is a chapter with helpful tips and hints to those who are aiming for the top grades (grade 5+) Each page has a easy layout. In the top corner it tells the student which grade the topic is aimed at. Each page has a section which covers the key points that you need to know followed by a set of questions which have been worked out for you so you can clearly see how to get the correct answer, final there is a set of questions for you to answer (all the answers are at the back of the book) with some little tips to tell you what the examiners for looking for. Once you have completed a page there is a handy confidence bar for you to tick off (so you can see if you know it or if you need to look over it again). This is a fantastic revision guide written by one of the top well known school publishers. I would strongly recommend getting the matching workbook to go with this guide to get the most out of the revision. Excellent quality and great value for money. I will be using this with my son (who I currently home school). I will strongly recommend this book for any student taking this subject for their exams.
