On this new French course, where there are a lack of past papers and practice questions available, this book is a little saviour! It has exam style questions as well as more general questions to help you to get to grips with grammar and to learn vocabulary. Also, what is great to see are the six extra speaking cards (that differ from the specimen cards provided on the AQA website) meaning that there is a wider variety of these to use to practice speaking. Links are provided at the front of the book for all of the answers and the audio files that will be needed for the listening sections, which is great to check your own work, and to have the ability to do exam-style listening practice at home. Overall, in terms of the content, I would say that this book is definitely worth the price. Possibly, in terms of the actual look of the book and how well it is made, it is a little flimsy (due it being normal paper), meaning I can see it possibly getting ripped easily if you are not careful (particularly with heavy usage). However, I am pleased overall.
